10 Day Tour to immerse yourself in Israeli Culture and visit its many historical religious sites

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Tel Aviv (B-D) – ON TLV
Landing at Ben Gurion airport, meeting with our assistance. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner
overnight in Tel Aviv.

Day 2: Caesarea-Haifa-Megiddo (B-D) ON in Haifa
Breakfast at the hotel. We start our tour with Jaffa and the ancient port of Tel Aviv. Then
drive along the Mediterranean coast to the Roman site of Caesarea Maritima; stop on the
top of the Mount Carmel in Haifa to have a look on the amazing Bahai. Guided tour of the
Bahai Gardens with a local guide (45 min). Dinner and overnight in Haifa

Day 3: Akko – Megiddo – Nazareth – B-D on kinneret
After the breakfast we start our day driving to the north. We stop in Akko for the tour of
the city, the Mosque, caravanserai and the Walls. Visit the archeological site of Tel
Megiddo, known for its historical, geographical, and theological importance. Drive to
Nazareth, visit to the shuk and the Church of Annunciation. Dinner and overnight near the
lake.

Day 4: Galilee – Kinneret Lake – Tiberias – (B-D) – ON kinneret
After the breakfast. We start out day with the first stop at Mount Tabor and the Church of
Transfiguration. Visit to Magdala then Nof Ginossar with boat trip on the lake, Tabgha,
traditionally known as the place of the miracle of multiplication of the loaves and fishes,
Capernaum and the Ancient Synagogue and we finish with the visit at the Mount of
Beatitudes where is believed that Jesus delivered his Sermon of the Mount. Dinner and
overnight near the lake.

Day 5: Golan and Galilee (B-D) – – (B-D) – ON kinneret
We start early in the morning, driving to Mount Bental, we continue with the visit at the
National Park of Tel Dan and a stop at Banias. We continue with Tel Hazor and Baram
National Park (too far there is no time). We end our day with the visit of Safed, the city of
the Kabbalah.

Dinner and overnight near the lake.
Day 6: Bet Shean – Dead Sea – (B-D) – ON DEAD SEA
After breakfast drive to Beit Shean, one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites
with the awesome ruins of a Roman city. After the visit, stop at Gan haShlosha National
Parkand Nir David. Continuation though the Jordan Valley. Arrival at Ein Bokek, dinner and
overnight in the hotel.

Day 7: Dead Sea – JERUSALEM (B-D) – ON JLM
Starting the day visiting Masada, an incredible plateau rising on the Judean desert. The
fortress built by Herod the Great and the theater of one of the most touching events of
Jewish history. Stop at Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were hidden before driving to
Jerusalem. Time for a chance to swim and float in the mineral rich waters of the Dead Sea.

Day 8: Jerusalem Old City (B-D) – ON JLM
Start the day from the Mount of Olives, visit to Gethsemane Garden and Church of All
Nations, descend to the Lions Gate and enter to the Old City of Jerusalem. Walk through
the quarters of the ancient city: visit at the Western Wall, the holiest place on Earth for the
Jewish People, the Cardo, the Arab Bazaar and walk along a portion of the Via Dolorosa to
finish at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Day 9: Jerusalem Modern City (B-D) – ON JLM
Start our visit to the modern portion of Jerusalem with a stop at the colorful market of
Machanè Yehuda. We continue with the Shrine of the Book to have a look of the Dead
Sea Scrolls at the Israel Museum and the model of the ancient Jerusalem. Visit at Yad
Vashem, the Memorial of the Holocaust. In the afternoon free time in Jerusalem.

Day 10: Departure
Transfer to Ben Gurion airport for flight back home
